Goth Mommy Wanted is a 20-page handmade collage zine exploring what it's like to navigate online dating as an alternative woman in a world where people often mistake a person for a fantasy.

Inside you'll find original collages made from vintage Playboy magazines published between 1969 and 1997, a collection of the most unhinged messages submitted by real women, original poetry, and a short think piece on fetishization, attraction, and the strange realities of dating online.

Part dark comedy, part social commentary, and part group therapy session, Goth Mommy Wanted examines the ways alternative women are fetishized, objectified, misunderstood, and occasionally treated like cryptids by strangers on the internet. The messages featured are real, the experiences are common, and the results are often equal parts hilarious and alarming.
